Of rectangular outline, the black enamel and gold vanity case set with a rose-cut diamond interlocking double "C" motif, within a rose-cut diamond border topped with a rose-cut diamond crown, the rose-cut diamond pushpiece opening to reveal a fitted mirror, two concealed compartments and a lipstick case, mounted in gold and silver, circa 1925, 2 x 3¾ x 5/8 ins., with French assay marks and English hallmarks, interior inscribed Patsy, 14 August 1929
