Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with raised hour markers in gold in 1948 and its subsequent sale on September 21, 1949.

Reference 707 was in production from around 1940 until the late 1950's. The model was available in yellow and pink gold, distinguished by its sharp edges to the case and the hexagonal-shaped bow.
