FINELY COLOURED MAP OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE. Later issue after 1638 without the coat-of arms and the dedication to David de Wilhem signed Willem and Joan Blaeu. This area of the map has been re-engraved with the words 'Persiae Pars' and the signature 'Ioannes Ianßonius excudit' now appears in the lower right-hand corner just above the scale.
