The hinged rectangular top with moulded border centred by a Belgian black marble panel with various hardstones and pietre dure including diaspro di Volterra, diaspro di Boemia e diaspro indiano, amethyst and agate, arranged in the form of fruiting branches, the front, sides and back with similar panels of ribbon-tied fruiting branches, the interior veneered in ebony-banded olivewood, with stepped moulded base, on bun feet
