On vine leaf base with fruiting vine-chased capital and tendril loop handle; also another miniature taperstick by Benjamin Preston, London, 1846, with pierced foliate scroll rim and detachable conical snuffer; and another by Samuel Jacob, 1893, the foliate scroll and diaperwork-pierced circular base on three ball feet, the conical snuffer on chain attachment, a Commedia del'Arte figure beside the tapering column
