MARKED FABERGÉ, WITH THE WORKMASTER'S MARK OF HJALMAR ARMFELT, ST. PETERSBURG, 1904-1908, SCRATCHED INVENTORY NUMBER 16140
Rectangular on four bun feet, the tapering body enameled in translucent lilac over a wavy guilloché ground, each side applied with a rosette flanked by blossoming flowers and anthemions, rising to a hinged cover with rectangular aperture within leaf-tip borders, enclosing a group of Russian stamps beneath a glass panel, opening to reveal three sloping stamp compartments, marked under base and inside cover
