MARKED FABERGÉ, WITH THE WORKMASTER'S MARK OF VICTOR AARNE, ST. PETERSBURG, 1899-1904, SCRATCHED INVENTORY NUMBER 8085
Rectangular, the sides enameled in translucent yellow over a wavy guilloché ground, applied with filigree scrollwork set at intervals with gemstones; the corners enameled over a sunburst guilloché ground, each centering a chased gemset rosette, centering a rectangular aperture enclosing a photograph of Grand Duchess Tatiana Nikolaevna (1897-1918), all within twisted ropework borders, the wood backing with scroll strut, marked on lower edge amd strut
