Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1968 with a dial with engine-turned or guilloché centre and its subsequent sale on 17 January 1973.

Fresh to the market, this is only the fifth reference 765 to have appeared at auction to date. In overall well-preserved original condition, the present watch with its beautifully engine-turned crisp dial and back is very slim and has an elegant feel.
