With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with applied gold hour markers in 1951 and its subsequent sale on 24 March 1952.

According to our research, less than 12 examples of the present reference 2449 have appeared on the market thus far.

Patek Philippe produced reference 2449 from 1948 until approximately 1955. The model was produced in two series, the first bearing the caliber 12'''120 and the second with caliber 12-400.
