Magdalena Antonia Hope, née van der Poll (1748-1808) was a daughter of Burghermaster Jan van der Poll. In 1774, she married Jonkheer Archibald Hope (1747-1821), an Amsterdam merchant and shareholder in the Dutch East India Company, who became an M.P. in 1815.
