Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Jaeger-LeCoultre, the movement of the present "Wrist Alarm" was produced in 1956. Its 14K gold case was made in the US for LeCoultre. The engraved designation "VXN" on the balance bridge of the calibre 814 movement was reserved for watches destined to the US market.
