Lot Essay

Accompanied by an Audemars Piguet Certificate of Guarantee and Authenticity dated April 8, 2011, Audemars Piguet Arnold Schwarzenegger The Legacy presentation box, sealed and unworn Audemars Piguet crocodile strap, and product literature.

The present watch is part of a limited series of 1500 pieces, produced as a collaboration between Audemars Piguet and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Following a trip to the Audemars Piguet headquarters in Le Brassus, Switzerland, Schwarzenegger collaborated with the manufacturer for his first of many, the End of Days model, which was released in 1999. Other limited editions produced between them include the T3 series, and the All-Stars Chronograph, which benefitted Schwarzenegger's charity, "After School All-Stars".

The Legacy Model was released in 2011, and was the first time an Audemars Piguet watch featured a case middle and bezel made entirely from black ceramic. The diameter of the bezel comes in at an impressive 48mm, making this not only a sport watch, but a statement piece.
