Woven in wools and silks, the smaller depicting various animals within a wooded landscape, the larger depicting mythological and allegorical scenes, most probably originally conceived as tapestry borders
The smaller: 7 ft. 5 in. x 6 ft. 7 in. (226 cm. x 201 cm.); 4 ft. 3 in. x 3 ft. 6 in. (169 cm. x 107 cm.) inside
The larger: 11 ft. 3 in. x 8 ft. 11 in. (343 x 272 cm.); 9 ft 8 in. x 5 ft. 11 in. (269 x 180 cm.) inside
