Accompanied by a Montblanc Certificate of Guarantee confirming this pen is number 667 in a limited edition of 888 examples, International Service Certificate dated March 23rd, 1998, product literature, limited edition Montblanc Hommage á Alexander the Great presentation box, and outer packaging.

With this Limited Edition, Montblanc honors the young king of Macedonia who enriched the world with the achievements of Greek Culture, and whose legacy is known as the era of Hellenism. The delicate engraving on the nib depicts the head of a ram, the symbol of the god Ammon. In the Siwa oasis, the Ammon oracle had prophesied that Alexander the Great was the son of Ammon. Convinced of his divinity, numerous artists created pictures of Alexander with ram's horns.
