MARKED FABERGE, WITH THE WORKMASTER'S MARK OF VIKTOR AARNE, ST PETERSBURG, 1899-1904, SCRATCHED INVENTORY NUMBER 2397
Of rectangular form, the thermometer panel with celsius scale within beaded border, the body enamelled in translucent salmon pink over moiré guilloché ground, applied with rosettes flanked by palmette sprays and ribbon-tied laurel wreaths, all within a reeded border, the wood back with silver scroll strut and suspension loop, marked on lower edge, strut and suspension loop
