Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with silvery grey dial and yellow gold and steel bracelet in 1982 and its subsequent sale on 9 December 1982.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never been offered in public before and is believed to be one of only around 12 examples of a reference 3770 in stainless steel and gold to have appeared in public to date.

Patek Philippe produced reference 3770 from 1980 until approximately 1990. The model is a hybrid of the popular Ellipse and Nautilus models.
