Since then, Vacheron Constantin has developed the King Kalla, Lord Kalla (please see Lot 2513), Lady Kalla, Kalla Duchesse, Kalla Rome (please see Lots 2509, 2510, 2511 and 2512), Kalla Paris (please see Lots 2514, 2515 and 2516) and many other haute joaillerie timepieces - all part of the brand’s Métiers d'Art collection. In 2001 the Lady Kalla won the Aiguille d'or Grand Prix and Jewellery and Artistic Crafts Watch Prize of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. In 2009, 30 years after the creation of “Kallista”, Vacheron Constantin created the “Kallania”. A dazzling expression of the passion that inspires the manufacturer’s master craftsmen, the watch set a new world record in its workmanship and number of carats. No fewer than 186 emerald-cut diamonds weighing approximately 170 carats illuminate this feat of patience and perfection.
