Lot Essay

With Ulysse Nardin Certificate, instruction manual, fitted presentation box and outer packaging.

The Tellurium Johannes Kepler, launched in 1992, features a rotating earth as seen from the North Pole. The time passes from the Tropic of Cancer to the Tropic of Capricorn to reveal the part of the earth lit by the sun and to indicate the time and place of sunrise and sunset. The moon rotates around the earth and indicates full and new moon. A dragon hand shows the solar and lunar eclipses. It also features a perpetual calendar which indicates the ruling zodiac sign, day and month.
