The collection has been assembled since 1991 and has witnessed the fast-changing development of Chinese ink paintings in the past two decades.The paintings presented here covers works by artists from Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan and presents a wide array of styles and subject matters, including the atmospheric, Northern Song-inspired landscape of Li Huayi (China/ United States), the innovative painterly technique of Lee Chun-yi (Taiwan), to the humorous genre scenes depicted by Fang Zhaolin (Hong Kong).With an impeccable provenance, the selection of paintings were acquired directly from the artists or from leading galleries in Hong Kong and abroad.
