Lot Essay

With vermicelle engraving to the bezel and back, the present pocket watch is masterfully decorated with two enamel scenes to the case front and back. One side is a deep navy blue enamel with angels and an owl to depict nighttime, to the other side is a light pink enamel with angels and flowers to depict daytime. It is furthermore preserved in excellent overall condition.
