Lot Essay

This interesting model was produced in the first quarter of the 20th century and appears in contemporary Omega advertisements of the period. This type of watch was specially made without a crystal and with a tactile display. The enamel dial with hours marked by dots in relief and poire hands that are sturdy enough to allow the time to be read by touch.

Other similar watches are described and illustrated in: Omega, A Journey Through Time, Marco Richon, 2007, p. 462.
