Lot Essay

FORMERLY THE PROPERTY OF WU SHUHENG (LOTS 1491-1494)
The name of recipient of the painting was Yu Sun, the courtesy name of Wu Shuhuan, a member of the Hushe Painting Association. He also held the courtesy name Guangyuan. As a student and member of the association, he specialised in painting landscapes and ladies. His works were published in Collection of Chinese Paintings and Hushe Monthly.
