Lot Essay

Consigned by a private collector this ref. 2488 is distinguished by its very good overall condition and the attractive diamond-set dial, beautifully harmonizing with the satined platinum case. Fresh to the market it is furthermore believed to be one of only 6 examples of a reference 2488 in platinum with diamond-set numerals, confirmed by the Extract from the Archives, to appear in public to date.

Reference 2488 is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 160.
