Le bestiaire de la maison Boivin Depuis les scarabées en labradorite des années vingt, les animaux reviennent dans le répertoire de la maison en 1932. Germaine Boivin aimait beaucoup les chats et les chiens. Elle suggère à Juliette Moutard des clips en or émaillé au naturel représentant un « carlin » (1954), l’autre un « chat siamois » (1958). Comme les pions de jeu d’échecs et les « éléphants », ces clips peuvent se poser sur une table, deviennent des bibelots précieux et sont supportés par un socle en bois précieux pour être utilisé comme pendentif. After the labradorite scarabs of the twenties, animals made their comeback in the repertoire of the maison in 1932. Germaine Boivin loved cats and dogs. She suggested to Juliette Moutard enamelled gold clips ‘au naturel’ representing for one a ‘pug’ (1954), for the other a ‘Siamese cat’ (1958). Like chess game pawns and the ‘elephants’, these clips can be put on a table, become precious bibelots and are supported by a precious wood base to be used as a pendant.
