According to the Archives of Montres Breguet, watch no. 2753, “chronographe, répétition-minutes, quantième perpétuel et phases de lune”, case no. 18467, was made in 1897 and sold to Monsieur Angelici on 6 February 1897 for the sum of 3800 Francs.
Interestingly, the Breguet workbooks record that the watch was brought in for servicing by Monsieur Angelici of Colombes près de Paris on several occasions over the years, the last time in 1918.
This very impressive large-diameter heavy gold watch has been consigned by the family of the original owner.
Furthermore, it is well preserved and an excellent example of the high-grade complicated watches being sold by the House of Breguet in the late 19th century.
