Oblong with shaped gadrooned borders, the cover with detachable double scroll handle, the covers engraved twice with a coat-of-arms, the dishes with a crest, all with earl's coronet above, marked on bodies, covers and finials

The arms are those of Bathurst, probably for Henry, 3rd Earl of Bathurst (1762-1834).
