engraving, circa 1498, on laid paper, without watermark, a very fine Meder a-b impression, printing with strong contrasts and burr to the edges of the cushion and face of the demon, some plate tone at lower left and right, trimmed to or just inside the platemark, with an inky plate edge at upper right
