Painted in a traditional Byzantine style, signed in Greek (lower edge), in a wooden frame
30 x 19 3/8 in. (76 x 49.2 cm.)
Provenance
A gift from Archbishop Damaskinos Papandreou (1891-1949), Regent of Greece, to Anthony Eden in celebration of the Liberation of Greece, December 1944.
