Consigned by a distinguished collector and offered in very good overall condition, the present timepiece is the extremely rare and highly coveted diamond-set 3990R. It features 40 baguette-cut diamonds of approximate 2.76 carats. According to our research only a few hundred of the reference 3990 was made in its twenty year history from which only 4 are known in pink gold.

Reference 3990
Reference 3990 was in production between 1995 and 2005 and was replaced by reference 5971. Made in yellow, white, and pink gold as well as platinum, this watch represents the first time Patek Philippe made a complicated jewel-set watch in series.
