Lot Essay

A prize for any seasoned collector. The present reference 130 is a fine representative of the celebrated model, distinguished by the much sought after Breguet numerals. The yellow gold case is in very good overall condition with clearly legible hallmarks.

According to our research, approximately 170 pieces were made in yellow gold with Breguet numerals, from which only 60 are known from the market.

Reference 130
The reference 130 is one of Patek Philippe's landmark models, The first chronograph to be given a reference number, it was launched in 1934 and remained in production until the 1960s. Distinguished by its timeless design, the model remains an icon of vintage production. Distinguished by its timeless ‘Calatrava’ design, the model was available in different precious metals as well as in stainless steel.
