Seized from the above on the behalf of the Federal Monuments Office in November 1938 following the Nazi occupation of Austria.
Taken for storage to the Altaussee salt mines in 1944.
Recovered by the Monuments Fine Arts and Archives Section in 1945 and later restituted to the Lederers’ son Eric (Erich) Lederer, Geneva (until at least 1984.)
