Although the term 'Reverso' is commonly associated with Jaeger LeCoultre, other watch brands also produced a comparable case structure during the 20th century. In 1933, Cartier designed and patented a similar mechanism, called the 'Cabriolet Reversible' or 'Tank Basculante', allowing for the complete 360-degree rotation of the case around the horizontal axis.
However, it wasn't until the 1970s that Cartier unveiled its version of the Reverso in its Tank case. Retailed by Cartier Paris, the present timepiece is preserved in very good overall condition, showcasing deep hallmarks.
