After a model by Natalya Danko, realistically modelled and painted as a girl, standing by a flowering shrub, wearing a red dress and white boots, on a circular base decorated with gilt foliage, marked under base with blue overglaze hammer, sickle and cog, and the date '1922'
3 7/8 in. (9.8 cm.) high
Provenance
Mikhail Alexeyevich Sergeev (1888-1965), scientist and economist, one of the first commissars of the State Bank of the USSR.
Acquired from the estate of the above by the parents of the present owner.
