By the State Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg
Circular, painted after a design by V. Belkin, the centre inscribed in Russian 'October 1917' and painted with a red banner, billowing smokestacks and a red star, the border inscribed in Russian 'Victory of the Workers' and painted with an axe, a hammer and a sickle, with orange rim, marked under base with overglaze blue hammer, sickle and cog mark and the date '1920'
