Lot Essay

Consigned by its original owner, the present reference 3796 has never been offered in public before. This particularly attractive “pink on pink” example is furthermore preserved in like new condition, still retaining its original accessories.

Reference 3796
Reference 3796 is Patek Philippe’s last classic size “original” Calatrava. It was in production from 1982 until the late 1990s and replaced reference 96 from which it differs only by the sapphire crystal and the new calibre 215 S. It was available in all three gold colours and in platinum, with a variation of dial layouts.
