"Les prisons et les cellules illustrent une critique de la masculinité - rigide, inhibée, murée - «carré» dans tous les sens du terme. J'ai commencé à utiliser la couleur Day-Glo comme une sorte de blague avec moi-même. C'était vraiment comme du 'slapstick', cette abstraction élégante. Oui, je pense que chaque prison et cellule émet une certaine lumière."
