The present timepiece is a well-preserved representative of the early Submariner Date reference 16610, still retaining the protective green sticker to the case back.

Launched in 1989, replacing the reference 16800, the model features a depth rating of 300 meters or 1000 feet, sapphire crystal and caliber 3135 movement.
