With three quarter plate gilt-finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, the engine-turned silver dial with Roman numerals on blank chapter ring, eccentric subsidiary seconds to 3 o'clock, in circular engine-turned case, the snap on back centred by a small circular cartouche with engraved initials, case stamped with casemaker's initials J.A., dial and movement signed
