The bowl baluster spool-shaped and on pedestal foot with knopped stem with scrolling buttresses, the detachable cover with finial cast as a knight in armour, overall cast and chased with foliage scrolls, fruit and strapwork, the bowl with landscape cartouches, the rim engraved with an inscription, marked on foot, at rim and on cover

The inscription reads 'Ex Dono The United Arts Rifles Lodge, 3817, to their First Master Rt Wor. Bro. Lt Gen. Sir Francis Lloyd, G.C.V.O., K.G.B., D.S.O., Past Grand Warden. 1917-1919'
