Ovoid and on a stepped pedestal foot, the gilt foot chased with foliage, the lower body and rim chased with gilt strapwork, with a scrolling figure capped handle with a bearded grotesque mask terminal flanked by two winged lions, the opposite side applied with a female mask, the elongated spout with a beaded rim, the foot and handle marked with a later French tax mark
