etching, 1938, a very good impression, on Arches, signed in pencil, numbered 13/30 (there were also four hand-coloured impressions on vellum, a few artist's proofs and a few hors commerce copies), published by P. Loeb, Paris, and P. Matisse, New York, with full margins, a deckle edge below, some very pale mount-staining, a very faint framing line in ink circa 25 mm. away from the platemark, minor skinning at the upper sheet edge recto from the removal of a previous hinge, a band of pale discolouration at the left sheet edge, otherwise in good condition, framed
