the rare complete set of 42 lithographs in colors, hors-texte, title page, text in French, and justification, on Arches, the colors strong, signed on the justification, copy 244 of 250 (there were also 20 artist's proofs in Roman numerals and an additional signed edition of 60 with margins), the full sheets, loose (as issued), (M. 313) with minor creasing at the lower right sheet corner, a few foxmarks in the text pages, original paper cover and vellum boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 435 x 340 mm.
