Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1977 and its subsequent sale on 12 July 1978. Purchased by the father of the present owner in 1977, it has never been offered in public before.

The celebrated Nautilus reference 3700/1 was launched in 1976 and remained in production until 1986. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 231.
