With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1969 and its subsequent sale on 12 August 1971.
It has never been offered in public before and stands out by its unique look combining the best of early and mid 20th century watchmaking. To the best of our knowledge, no comparable watch of such reference has been described in literature or offered publicly at auction. It is certainly a speciality in Patek Philippe's long and rich history of making complicated timepieces.
