HELMUT NEWTON (1920-2004)
In the summer of 1979, German Vogue sent me to Berlin, my home town, to do some fashion photos... Before leaving Paris, June and I had one of our regular barainstorming sessions. Her idea was to shoot in all the places of my childhood. What was most surprising was that all of the places I chose were virtually untouched by the war's destruction. Helmut Newton
