The necklace composed of a fringe of three openwork scroll panels each with applied black and white piqué enamel and set with five old-brilliant-cut diamonds to diamond four stone articulated surmounts, each suspending a pendant of three pearls, flanked by similar smaller drop spacers and graduated openwork looped scroll links with pearl drop intervals, pearls untested, circa 1890, 37.0 cm long, in fitted leather Giuliano case

This necklace was formerly the Property of Lady Emma Alice Margaret (Margot) Countess of Oxford and Asquith (1864 -1945) wife of Herbert Henry Asquith, 1st Earl of Oxford and Asquith KG, PC, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (1908-1916).
