According to the Archives of Montres Piaget, the present necklace watch was manufactured in 1971.

According to the engraved inscription, one can assume that this necklace watch was destined as a prize for the 1972 Miss Universe winner. This contest was won by the Australian Kerry Anne Wells and was held at the Cerromar Beach Hotel in Dorado, Puerto Rico, on 29 July 1972. N. Barquet Joyeros is one of Puerto Rico's oldest jewellery retailer, located in San Juan.
