A FINE PAIR OF RUBY AND DIAMOND EAR PENDANTS, BY WALLACE CHAN
Each suspending a cluster of rubies designed as a flower head, centering upon an oval-shaped ruby pistil weighing 2.30 and 2.04 carats, set within eight oval and cushion-shaped rubies weighing 6.68 and 6.61 carats, to the gallery enhanced by a row of eight brilliant-cut diamonds, each within a pavé-set diamond scalloped surround, spaced by an oval and cushion-shaped ruby weighing 1.42 and 1.31 carats, joined to a similarly-set oval-shaped ruby surmount weighing 1.56 and 1.56 carats, mounted in titanium, 5.2 cm long

Accompanied by twenty-two reports dated from 15 December 2008 to 21 December 2009 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the twenty-two rubies weighing from 2.30 to 0.54 carats are of Burma (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating, and twelve rubies with additional comment stating that their colour variety may also be called "pigeon's blood red" in the trade
The total weight of the rubies is 23.48 carats (2)
