Kirsten had the type cut by Petrus von Seelau, and published the works at his own expense; he later became court physician to Queen Christina of Sweden and professor of medicine at Uppsala. RARE: ABPC records only the Burrell copies and one copy of the first work at auction in over 35 years. Brunet I: 586 and III: 670.
