A MULTI-COLORED SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND NECKLACE
Composed of twenty-six graduated oval and cushion-cut multi-colored sapphires, ranging from pink to purple to yellow to green to blue to colorless, alternately spaced by circular-cut diamonds, mounted in pink and white gold, 16¾ ins.
With report 1003832 dated 22 March 2010 from Gübelin Gem Lab stating that gemmological testing of twenty-five of the sapphires revealed characteristics consistent with those of sapphires originating from Madagascar. Gemmological testing of one of the sapphires (number thirteen from the tongue end) revealed characteristics consistent with those of a sapphire originating from Sri Lanka. No indications of heating
Total weight of the sapphires is approximately 86.26 carats
